The Ice Lake CBox (DELL) is based on a density-optimized multi-CNode chassis. It is optimized for high density and ease of service.
The Ice Lake CBox (DELL) has 4 hot-swappable dual-socket CNodes in a 2U chassis, with up to two 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors per node, with up to 40 cores per processor. It supports 8 memory channels/CPU, up to 16 DDR4 DIMMs @ 3200 MT/s DIMM speed. In addition, to address substantial throughput improvements the Ice Lake CBox (DELL) supports PCIe Gen 4 and up to 6 NVMe drives per node. The Ice Lake CBox (DELL) is available as a single NIC or dual NIC version.
The dual, hot-plug fault tolerant redundant power supplies (1+1), are 2600W PSUs with 2 x C14/C19 or C19/C20 power cables. The PSUs are hot swappable FRUs.

Caution
-
A shielded-type power cord is required in order to meet FCC emission limits and also to prevent interference to the nearby radio and television reception. It is essential that only the supplied power cord be used.
-
Use only shielded cables to connect I/O devices to this equipment.
-
You are cautioned that changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void your authority to operate the equipment.
Ice Lake CBox (DELL) has 2 hot-plug fault tolerant redundant 2600W power supplies, that are field replaceable units (FRU). There are 2 PSUs in every CBox, for redundancy.
The power consumption of the Ice Lake CBox (DELL) under various operational models is as follows:
